Artist Statement

I am a freelance music photographer based in Winsted CT. I found my passion for live music photography in 2016 while attending my friend's band local shows. They were shitty iPhone 4 photos -- but nevertheless I loved them and desperately wanted to capture the lighting and energy the way I experienced it behind the screen of my phone. I got my hands on my mom's Nikon D60 and started shooting. I'm now shooting on a better body with lenses optimized for the fast paced - lowlight environments I love.
